LUMIERE LONDON | FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

lumiere london art display 2016
Lumiere London, the biggest ever light festival to take place in the city took place from 14th-17th January. If you ventured into Central over recent evenings you will have noticed the huge crowds, had you not already spotted the large, impressive, art installations scattered around. I am not exaggerating when I say I was breathtaken; each display was so enchanting in it’s own way. While I explored using the Lumiere London map I also broadcasted some of the experiences on my Periscope channel (@BoopFashionista) and you can watch the replays down below.
The free public event was organised by Artichoke and supported by the Mayor of London. I visited the exhibitions in Regent Street, Leicester Square and near Bond Street. The most impressive of which I found to be the Garden of Lights that took over Leicester Square. It was such a fun way to spend my Friday night exploring London as I love to do.
