Dr PAWPAW Balms | Beauty Review

I’m always eager to try out some new products, it comes naturally being a blogger – you hear about a product you haven’t had a chance to try before and you’ve got to give it a whirl. Dr. PAWPAW have been making waves in the beauty industry since their launch in the UK & Ireland a couple of years ago and most recently their QVC launch which took place only this week. Albeit, I’m late to the party but better late than never they say! I received three of Dr. PAWPAW’s best selling balms and have shared my thoughts below along with some info on the brand. I’m also letting you know the details of where you can watch me live discussing the Dr. PAWPAW range so do read on…

L-R Dr. PAWPAW Tinted Pink Peach Balm (Orange)*, Dr. PAWPAW Tinted Ultimate Red Balm (Red)* and Dr. PAWPAW Multi-Purpose Original Balm (Yellow)*
On first impressions the packaging is quite appealing – brightly coloured and yet no-frills and it soon becomes apparent that what matters is what’s on the inside. Each tube is 25ml in size with a twist-off cap.
I tried the Multi-Purpose Balm first and it truly lives up to it’s name. It’s is essentially a skincare product which can be used on skin, nails, cuticles and lips. I’m always raving about how important it is to look after our hands and nails, especially as we enter the Winter months and this is great as a non-sticky, hand cream. It has a gel-like texture and a little goes a long way so I wouldn’t apply it too generously, unless of course your skin needs some extra loving. Surprisingly, this balm can also be used as a hair mask, smoothing brows and even as a make-up primer. I told you it was multi-purpose! It’s also full of goodness, containing aloe leaf juice, fruit oil and carica papaya.
The Tinted Pink Peach Balm and Tinted Ultimate Red Balm are quite similar to the multi-purpose balm but with that added bonus of a tint. I loved the Pink Peach balm. It’s quite subtle so great for applying on the go – anywhere! Both balms can be used on your lips, cheeks and eyes to get the desired effect. I was more drawn towards lips and cheeks with the Pink Peach balm and lips with the Red balm. Believe me, they work wonders on your lips. I’d definitely recommend the balms as a handbag addition to combat chapped lips this Winter.
Each balm retails at £6.95; you can even get a super-sized version of the multi-purpose balm but I am loving the little handbag sized balms. ou can even get a super-sized version of the multi-purpose balm but I am loving the little handbag sized balms.
