Outfit | Floral Bodycon & Lace

Today on the blog I’m sharing a recent outfit post from a night out. I usually share my everyday street style outfit’s here but I’m quite a party girl at heart and I love nothing more than getting glammed up for a night out. This is an outfit I wore for a night out with my friend in Camden, London.

At just over 5′ tall I generally stray away from longer length bodycon style dresses however I totally fell for this dress when I was browsing the House of Fraser Bodycon Dresses collection. It’s also cami style which is not something I usually go for but I could not resist it this time. The slightly faded printed floral pattern has a vintage feel to it and it’s super super dressy. I used to absolutely love Lipsy London dresses when I was in university, they were my go-to party dress but I haven’t worn them as often in recent years. I feel this dress suits my current style though and it’s nice to wear a brand which offers something to suit your style as it matures. When I shared this outfit on the actual night I wore it over on Instagram you were all commenting on how pretty the lace panel was, it’s funny how detail like this can really complete a look. Also if you seen my New Look Haul video you’ll know I am loving all things purple and lilac in my wardrobe lately. Hence, I paired the dress with these ankle-strap sandals from New Look. I wanted to keep the accessories quite simple so I went for statement earrings (again from New Look) and this dainty Thomas Sabo bracelet from Joshua James jewellery. I finished the look with my Dune London snakeskin style purse.
Overall I really liked this outfit and it felt so glam. The dress was such a pleasure to wear, it’s so figure hugging and fits in all the right places. It’s definitely something stylish enough that I would consider wearing it to the Galway Races in July (yes I am outfit planning already!) so I don’t think it’s the last you’ve seen of it on the blog.
I should note that as it was dark outside at this stage we had to shoot the look indoors which isn’t the easiest but I made sure you can still see all the features of the outfit. I really want to take some outdoor photos wearing this dress so you can see how it looks in natural daylight.
