The Dark Funfair | Outfit

Happy Monday fashionistas! I feel really motivated today and I think it’s in part to do with this cute motivational pin I spotted over on Pinterest last night! It’s always nice to start your week off well and after a productive weekend filming another Lookbook video I’ve got lots of exciting things planned for Bec Boop and I hope you enjoy reading/watching. Here’s a look at one of the outfits I featured in my A/W14 Casual Outfits Lookbook video. Just ‘Click to View Post’ under the image to continue reading…

Outfit Details

Faux-fur gilet Bershka similar here & here // Black mid-length sleeve top Primark // Black faux-leather pants River Island similar here // P.S. I Love You ankle boots – Bourbon Footwear c/o Greenes Shoes here // Bag Parfois similar here // Bec Boop Necklace Pangham London
Putting this outfit together I had in mind ‘date-night’ and I think the funfair is one of the cutest places to go on a date! It had started to get dark when we were filming the Lookbook video and I think the bright lights of the funfair contrasted so well with this outfit. As the leather look pants are quite sexy I kept the rest of the outfit a little covered up, but still stylish of course. I wore this faux-fur gilet over a simple black long-sleeve top which is of course an A/W wardrobe essential. Adding colour to an otherwise dark outfit I wore these P.S. I Love You ankle boots by the Amy Huberman brand Bourbon footwear from Greenes Shoes in shade – wine. I think they really added some glitz to the overall outfit and you can see more of these shoes in an unboxing video I published recently. The pink clutch bag from Parfois was perfect to complete the outfit which I think overall screams ‘Modern Style’.
You can see more angles and close-ups of the outfit in my A/W14 Casual Outfit Lookbook video, over on the Bec Boop YouTube channel (SUBSCRIBE HERE). Thanks again to the lovely Ana Elizabeth from Elizabeth’s Beauty who has been working with me on these videos/shoots and we have another exciting one coming up this week 🙂 For this lookbook video I had a 60’s inspired makeover from Tara Finn MUA and again I think this makeup look is perfect for that first date scenario. The eyes are very classy and fit well with the nude lip without it all appearing too much, especially for a night at the funfair!
I’d love to hear from you in the comments below. What do you think of this look? How would you incorporate a look like this into your own personal style?
