Capes | November Trend Prediction

Welcome to November fashionistas! This month sees the start of a new blog series right here on Bec Boop. I’ve been blogging about trend alerts recently and thought it was time for a little revamp in this area. To kick off each month I’m going to blog about what I think will be the biggest trend for the month – let’s call it a ‘Trend Prediction’. To kick off this series I’m looking at capes! The A/W equivalent of the kimono, the cape has made a huge comeback in the fashion world this year.  They make a stylish alternative to a coat and are so easy to throw on over any outfit! Stephanie, my sister, styled her cape with a pop of bright colour, ankle boots and a floral crown. The fantastic thing about wearing a cape is they can literally work with anything and are perfect for layering. There are also such a wide range of capes on the high street and online at the moment with various detail and little features such as tassels, faux-fur collars and patterns. I love that there are capes of the boho variety but also a more chic alternative with a more fitted shape and boxed structure. It’s so hard to decide on which kind I prefer!
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect cape for a while now and really need to add one to my wardrobe ASAP. If you’ve been thinking like this and are searching for a cape to buy, I’ve made this a little easier for you! I’ve included some of my favourite cape finds online at the end of this post where you can shop the trend if you spot anything you like just by clicking into the image you like.
Don’t forget to let me know in the comments below if you spot anything you like 🙂
What are your thoughts on the cape trend?

Wishing you all a fashionable November.
