Last Saturday I was in the Stock Exchange venue in Galway judging their Little Black Dress ‘Best Dressed’ competition. I was so excited to be asked to judge this and was really looking forward to the night! Here is a look at what I wore.

I picked up this skirt in Urban Outfitters when I was in London recently and it is actually my first UO purchase! My sister has been raving about UO for ages and I have always said that it’s just a store that I’ve not really warmed to; however I fell in love with this skirt! It’s the perfect way to make a statement on a night out and it is a nice change from wearing a dress or shorter skirt. I wore it with a Forever 21 mint crop top, which I also picked up in London in Forever 21. Yes, I have did a years worth of shopping in that one weekend in London! On a serious spending ban at the moment! Because the skirt is high waisted I tucked the crop top in, I am not really a fan of baggy crop tops either so this is the exact look I had in mind. Mint is such a fresh colour for spring too and something I am looking to work into my wardrobe a bit more over the coming months.

I had a lot of fun judging the best dressed competition. It was a tough decision as the LBD’s were out in force! Here I am presenting the prize to the winner which was sponsored by Cotton Face Vintage and The Connacht Hotel.
