I hope you had a lovely weekend fashionistas! I spent it moving into our new home which I am super excited about! I have an unbelievable amount of unpacking to do yet and again I am away with work this week so it will have to wait. This is an outfit I wore on Saturday when I went shopping for home decor. My sister gave me this Betty Boop sweater for Christmas and I have been waiting for the right opportunity to feature it in an outfit post. In case you haven’t guessed by my blogging name (Bec Boop) I adore all things Betty Boop! This sweater is so me 🙂 Thank you Stephanie! I kept the look monochrome wearing a pleated, leather look miniskirt which I picked up in H&M recently. Although I would love to have just worn the sweater without a coat, the weather did not permit this so I wrapped up in my River Island leather panel parka. I love how this parka embraces the faux-fur collar trend which has become so popular lately. Finally I was so excited to feature my new Valentino handbag, yes I cannot believe I am actually the proud owner of a Valentino!! I’m sure it will pop up on my blog quite a bit!
I love wearing prints and designs which actually reflect my personality. I have mentioned this before in relation to city inspired fashion but wearing something Betty Boop and fitting it in with my own personal style really put a smile on my face. Cartoons always adds that fun element to fashion too. Don’t forget you can shop this look below!
I’d love to know your thoughts on reflecting your own personality through fashion. Do let me know in the comments below. Do you think cartoons have a place in fashion?
